Autumns 2nd stroll, Dommies first

Burr!!!!

Hey! theres a bell on this hat!

Littles is the smallest "dancer"

find Autumn

there she is!
As we get ready to get ready to go to an ugly sweater party, my writing environment is vera vera different. I have an earphone in ONE side so that if Autumn must tell me something (that she couldn't possibly tell me the last 12 hours of our day) I can hear her. Dom and Dana are in the living room discussing the leopard scarf that Dana is wearing and Dom is hanging onto as leverage so that he doesn't fall while practicing his stance. Autumn now has the other ear plug in.  This is a very normal scene all except that Autumn didn't know these things had music in them.
Last night while running here and running there, Autumn fell face first, hands out and hit so hard her legs arched towards her head. She got up, dusted herself off and said "Whoah. I took a digger". I looked at Dana who mouthed "did she really just say that?" and we both got the giggles. It was super cute. She has such a vocab that she always keeps us on our toes.
Dominic is staying strong with his 4 or 5 step limit, but he stands alone for longer periods. His crawling is becoming the creepy fast where I literally run to try and move something or grab a hand before it touches something hot. His vocab (and always yelled, never whispered) consists of NO, DADA, MOM  and AAAAHHHHHH!!! His signing is not like Autumns' was at this age but he gets his point across...quickly. We haven't been as consistent with Dom so the poor guy has no choice but to yell at us from time to time.
Autumn has been in dance for a couple months now and got to ride on the float in the Christmas Stroll. It was a cold cold wait for it to get started but once we RAN after the float all the way through town Dana and I were warmed up, except our toes that we lost somewhere in the beginning. It started out that Dana would ride with her. In the chaos he wasn't invited on before the driver (whom had never driven a float) took off. I thought he was on with her and started to walk with Dom in the stroller and a tote of hats on top of the stroller behind the truck and next to another mother. Pretty soon the truck sped up and the other mother and I were speed walking but the type you do on ice. Then, I spot Dana. "What are you doing?! Where is Autumn?!" "She's on the float, one of the girls is holding her." DANA!" I see Mamma Jo and Papa Bob, we are all confused. Why is Dana here, on the street and Autumn isn't with him and omg she's two! Off I go. The truck is now about half a block away so I'm jogging. Do I have to stop at the red light even though the street is closed? I'm not going to. I'm going to keep going. My precious is on that float! That float of total strangers! (This was the dramatic irrational part, she knew all the other little ones and Miss Janet , her instructor, somehow keeps them all together at all times). Then, next to me, without a word there goes Dana. He's really running, he passes the cop truck (ha! the cop TRUCK) that is bringing up the last of the float. I watch him catch the float and go back to my speed walk. Dom most likely has hypothermia from the speed I was going;). We finally all come together at the end of the line and debate whether or not to walk back to the shops and actually partake in the stroll. Um. No thank you. I can't feel my toes and I'm starving. So, we missed the stroll picture with Santa but I think there might just be one on the Christmas Train tomorrow night. We enjoyed a great meal with Mamma Jo and Papa Bob and laughed at the chaos of the parade. I've heard "get used to it, as long as you're in Miss Janet's class, you will never know what's going on". Ha!!!! It was truly fun. Cold, but a lot of fun.
Next...and I will go more into it later because it deserves its very own blog. My mother finished her radiation treatments!!!! The babies and I drove there yesterday to meet the rest of the family to watch her ring the bell and walk out of Sletten and say "SEE YOU NEVER!" Well I hope she said that, I was thinking it. I have some great shots of the day I will share very soon. Cheers!
